SIPFMAIL - Mailing list of the Italian Society of Psychophysiology

The Italian Society of Psychophysiology was founded in 1990 by (in alphabetical order): G.A. Amabile (Roma), G.A. Chiarenza (Milano), F. Denoth (Pisa) F. Fattapposta (Roma), A. Guareschi (Milano), C.L. Cazzullo (Milano), F. Pierelli (Roma), C. Morocutti (Roma), A. Ragazzoni (Firenze), G. Rosadini (Genova), R. Zappoli-Thyrion (Firenze) and joined in the same year the International Organization of Psychophysiology which publishes the International Journal of Psychophysiology. In 1991, its representatives took part, in Holland, to the foundation of the Federation of European Psychophysiology Societies (FEPS) with the Journal of Psychophysiology as official organ.

The main areas of research of the members of the SIPF are: movement-related potentials, ERPs and cognitive functions, ERPs and brain maturation and aging, magnetic brain stimulation, magnetic brain fields, psychophysiology and pharmacology of sleep, psychopharmacology, habituation and attention, memory, biological rhythms, biofeedback, conditioning, phychophysiology of hypnosis and meditation, phychophysiology of stress and emotions, affective disorders, brain imaging, brain source modelling, pupillography, electrooculography, psychophysiology and autonomic function, EP analysis techniques, cognition and neuronal networks, etc.
